How It Works:
Pre-level through level 4 Academy dancers will learn a piece of choreography during their normally scheduled class time, as part of their dance curriculum, and the choreography tutorial video sent out via email. We will have variations by level and class genre. This choreography will then be used as our performance piece. The 2 weeks prior to the event, we will hold Saturday afternoon rehearsals to give formations/placements.
Your dancer will have the opportunity to Perform in a Fall event, and a Spring event. Those signed up for the Fall Performance will also be able to perform in our Winter Showcase. A tentative schedule coming soon! You will be the first to receive the schedule and sign up links when they go live!
NOTE: You may sign up for individual events. You DO NOT have to commit to ALL events.
For the Fall and Spring performances, the
sign up deadline will be 1 month prior
to the performance event. Don’t worry we will be sending out an email reminder!
The Cost for participating will be 2 $15 rehearsal fees, per performance, due upon commitment to an event.
Costuming
for the events will be their class uniform. No additional costumes will need to be purchased. For example, The dancers participating in the hip hop piece will be required to wear their hip hop class uniform. Dancers in the Jazz and Lyrical pieces will be required to wear their PBADA class uniforms for those specific classes. Uniform requirements attached.
Requirements:
Be a PBADA student Ages 5-14
Must be enrolled in (Pre-dance, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 or Level 4) lyrical, jazz, or hip hop (boys hip hop included).
Consistently attend all classes they wish to perform in
Have appropriate uniform and footwear for ALL classes attending/performing in
