at PBADA we don't just teach excellent dance technique...we teach life skills by instilling our values of excellence, diversity & inclusion, belonging, safety & modesty, and legacy in each of our students. We do this through various leadership programs, community events and contributions, as well as within our class rooms. Our goal is to set our dancers up for success in dance AND in life, so wherever their journey takes them they can shine bright. Learn more about what we do to teach our dancers excellent life skills alongside of their dance training below...
All PBADA dancers have the opportunity to earn PBADA bucks at the studio by going above-and beyond in class, giving their all, knowing terminology, being kind or cleaning up! Every month we do a raffle drawing for a small prize.
Our dancers can celebrate their achievements by earning pins for being kind, doing a great job in class, achieving skills (such as an aerial!), achieving their splits on both sides, going en pointe and much more!
At the end of every month our faculty nominates and votes for dancers of the month. We base this off of the dancers behavior, effort & overall how they carry themselves at the studio. At the end of the year, the faculty choses a dancer of the year from the list of all Dancers voted 'Dancer of the Month" throughout the season.
We are proud to offer a teachers assistant program to current PBADA students. Students selected for this program are given the opportunity to train under our current faculty and learn how to become dance teachers. They must apply, participate in an interview process and attend trainings throughout the year.
Our company team enriches our local community through performance and organizes/runs several charitable events throughout the year. We are also a proud Hope Studio supporting Dancers Against Cancer.
As a part of the National Dance Education Organization, we have established an NHSDA chapter for grades 6-12 to recognize outstanding artistic merit leadership and academic achievement in students studying dance.
Qualifying new members are inducted each year.

Literally every parent and teacher is kind. There is NO drama. I chose the studio because your recitals are professional, the class choices, focus on technique are all what was important to me. I also wanted a studio with a competition team that was like a family.

Inclusivity. On our first phone call you had me at flesh colored tights for ballet

I had been searching for an adult ballet class for YEARS, and Sam finally found PBADA for me. Everyone was SO kind, and I looked forward to my class every single week. During those classes I saw your determination to grow something really important, and I saw your heart in the way you wanted to do it. The way you talked about the PBCo dancers made me know that if Grey wanted to ever pursue dance, that this was going to be a safe and loving place.
Now that Grey is dancing, I see the way the older girls inspire her to reach high. She has built in superstars to aspire to be! I cried during the first winter showcase Grey was in. Seeing the work that the company kids were putting into their art and how, even at a young age, they were able to tell rich stories through their movement was so freaking cool. That comes from the instruction, the teachers, and the choreography. The love you guys have for these kids is insane and I know that you believe in Grey and push her in ways that only a parental figure could. Calling her out when she’s not where she should be, and praising her when she is. We trust you and put our kids in your hands, and they grow and thrive because of it.
A village is vital to raising young kids. Knowing that I can reach out to so many other moms if I ever needed help is like a safety net that is made of gold. Every time I talk about it I get emotional! I just feel so lucky to be walking down this path with really incredible parents, and knowing that we’re creating this really great childhood for our kids is amazing.
So, in short, you’re stuck with us forever 💜

When I first started looking for studios Aurora was only 2 and I knew I wanted a place that she could grow in no matter what style of dance she fell in love with. So I was looking for a studio that offered it all, an emotionally healthy environment, wide variety of classes for all ages, as well as a competitive team (in case she wanted to take the route - which clearly she did). We found all of that here and couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.
